Hillsdale Co., MI – Troopers from the Michigan State Police Jackson Post investigated an accidental drowning that occurred on Tuesday afternoon at around 3:20 p.m. in Hillsdale County.
When Troopers arrived on scene, they were advised that a 68-year-old male subject from Camden had gone under the water and had not resurfaced. Efforts were made by First Responders to locate the subject, who was ultimately recovered from the water. Life-saving measures were attempted, however the subject was pronounced deceased on scene.
The victim’s name is not being released at this time and the investigation is ongoing.
