Tecumseh, MI – Tecumseh residents will soon have the option to use a tote for trash services.

City residents that are interested in receiving a cart must contact the City to be placed on the cart request list before September 7th. If you are interested in receiving a cart in this first group, you can be added to the list in any of the following ways:
1. Fill out the web form on the City website: City of Tecumseh, MI (mytecumseh.org); or
2. Call City Hall at (517) 424-6540; or
3. E-mail the City Treasurer’s Office at dwells@tecumseh.mi.us.
Please note the following conditions associated with utilizing a trash cart:
- All trash must be placed in the cart, no loose trash will be picked up by Stevens Disposal.
- The cart cannot be stored in front of your home between pick-up days – It must be stored inside a structure or to the side or rear of your home.
- Only one trash cart will be provided to each requesting residence. Additional trash carts must be rented from Stevens Disposal and homeowners will have to pay to replace missing or damaged carts.
