Morenci, MI – The City of Morenci held a Primary Election for their three open Council seats on Tuesday, and the results have been finalized.
The incumbents Sandra Emmons, Dave Lonis, and Kandice Jarrell will all make it to the November General Election ballot by a comfortable margin.
The other four competing for the remaining three spots all had their unofficial vote totals made official by the Lenawee County Board of Canvassers on Wednesday.
So the November Morenci City Council ballot will have six people seeking three seats:
Sandra Emmons, Dave Lonis, Kandice Jarrell, Jennifer O’Brien, Chip Connin, and Ronald Apger.
