Adrian, MI – A squirrel damaged equipment at a Consumers Energy substation, causing the extensive power outage in southern Adrian, and the majority of Madison Township on Monday morning…and into the afternoon.
Over 2,100 lost power at around 9:10am. Terry Dedos, with Consumers Energy, told WLEN News that by 11:50am crews were able to reroute power so that around 830 people had their electricity restored.
The full outage was restored by 2:05pm Monday afternoon.
