Tecumseh, MI – Lenawee County is investigating the viability of a County recreational community facility in a public/private partnership at the former Tecumseh Products site.
This proposed project is currently being researched by third-party consultants to determine financial feasibility and economic impact to the community. The Lenawee County Board of Commissioners has entered a purchase agreement for the site.
The vision for the facility operations is for it to be self-funded from an operational standpoint and to be an economic driver for county businesses as a sports and community complex.
The Board will be presented with the results of the feasibility study and will make a decision on whether or not to move forward with the purchase of the property this fall.
