Monroe, MI – The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office arrested a 26-year-old woman suspected of robbing a 26-year-old male at gunpoint in the City of Monroe.
Sheriff Troy Goodnough reports that the armed robbery occurred in the 1100 block of North Macomb Street.
The man who reported the incident told deputies that he was robbed in the parking lot of an apartment building by an unknown female subject. She then fled the scene in a vehicle.
Through information gathered, the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office secured an arrest warrant for a 26-year-old Melvindale, Michigan woman.
She was apprehended in Wayne County and lodged in the Monroe County Jail for armed robbery. Her identity is being withheld pending formal arraignment. The incident remains under investigation.
