Adrian, MI – The Rex B. Martin Judicial Building in Adrian was closed Friday because of a bomb threat. Lenawee County Sheriff Troy Bevier told WLEN News that at 8:49am Central Dispatch received a phone call alleging the bomb threat.
The unknown male caller was extremely vague about the threat. Lenawee County Court Security evacuated the building. The building was searched with the assistance of Michigan State Police explosive sniffing canine, which did not locate anything of concern.
Although the “All Clear” was given at around 11:10am Friday, the Judicial Building will be closed for the remainder of the day. The Sheriff’s Office is investigating the incident.
