Authorities Search for Missing Woman Involved in Motorcycle Crash

Monroe County, MI – The Michigan State Police Monroe Post are searching for a female who went missing following a single vehicle motorcycle crash on I-75 in Monroe County.

The post reports that on June 26th, at approximately 11:48 pm, troopers were dispatched to a single motorcycle crash on the northbound I-75 near mile marker 17. Troopers determined that a blue Honda motorcycle occupied by two people was traveling north on northbound I-75, quickly changed lanes, and lost control of the motorcycle. The motorcycle left the roadway, struck the concrete median, then landed on its side and slid back into the freeway. An occupant of the motorcycle, a 26-year-old male from Erie landed next to the motorcycle.

The location of the other occupant, an unknown white female, is unknown. Troopers along with members of the Frenchtown Township Fire department, Michigan State Police Canine Unit, and Dundee Police searched, but were unable to locate her. It is believed that she was picked up by an unknown vehicle. The male was transported to Beaumont Hospital in Trenton due to the injuries that were sustained during the crash.

The unknown white female is described as having blonde hair, between 5’03 and 5’06, approximately 120 pounds and was wearing blue jeans with a red shirt.
