Lenawee County, MI – The Kiwanis Regional Trail Authority has raised the necessary funding to receive matching grant dollars… with all monies raised going towards the expansion of the trail.
Chairperson for the Authority, Dusty Steele, talked to WLEN News about the funding raised by the community…
Steele said that, even though the donations so far have been great, there’s still more to go…
He said that, if all goes according to plan, the Kiwanis Regional Trail Authority will break ground on the project this year…
To connect the cities of Adrian and Tecumseh with the trail, they will need to raise a total of around one million dollars.
