Tecumseh, MI – John Benzing has submitted his resignation from the Tecumseh Public Schools Board of Education.
TPS Board President Tony Rebottaro accepted the Treasurer’s resignation on May 19th.
Benzing, in a news release, said “I truly wish the district nothing but success and hope that it continues to strive to become the exemplary district in Lenawee County. We certainly have the students, teachers, and administrators to do just that.”
The Board of Education is immediately accepting applications for the vacant seat. Those who wish to apply for the vacancy should send their application to Tony Rebottaro.
The Board of Education will consider the timeline of filling the vacant seat during the regularly scheduled meeting on Monday, May 24th.
