Adrian, MI – All providers across Lenawee County have paused administration of the Johnson and Johnson COVID-19 Vaccine based on the recommendation from the CDC and FDA.

All vaccine clinics, including the one planned at Adrian College this week, will be administering either the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine.

Of the 6.8 million doses of the Johnson and Johnson COVID-19 vaccine distributed nationally, only six adverse reactions have been reported.

If you have received the J&J vaccine and develop a severe headache, abdominal pain, leg pain, or shortness of breath within three weeks after vaccination, contact your health care provider. Health care providers are asked to report adverse events to the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System.
