Lenawee County Businesses Cited by MIOSHA for COVID-19 Safety Violations

Lenawee County, MI – Two Lenawee County businesses were recently cited for COVID-19 workplace safety violations by MIOSHA.

On March 3rd, American 1 Towing LLC in Onsted, was cited for an other-than-serious violation of COVID-19 workplace safety requirements including not developing a written COVID-19 preparedness and response plan. The inspection was initiated as a planned-programmed inspection. There was no fine issued.

On March 2nd, Service Tectonics Inc. in Adrian, was fined $500 for violations of COVID-19 workplace safety requirements including not requiring face coverings when social distancing could not be maintained, not maintaining social distancing, and not maintaining a record of employee COVID-19 training. Total penalties including other workplace violations were $1900. The inspection was initiated as a planned-programmed inspection.
