City of Adrian Sets Dates for Yard Waste Collection

Adrian, MI – Spring is just around the corner, and the City of Adrian will begin yard waste collection next month.

The City will collect yard waste and bundled branches/ brush twice throughout the city limits between April 19th and April 30th. Yard waste must be placed at the curb no later than 7am on April 30th.

All yard waste shall be placed in biodegradable and/ or compostable paper bags and must not weigh more than fifty pounds. Unapproved containers, including plastic bags, will not be picked up.

The City of Adrian Compost Site, located off of Oakwood Avenue, will open in May.

Bundled branches and brush must meet the following guidelines:
• Tied in bundles no longer than three (3) feet.
• Bundles are placed parallel with the curb.
• Bundles weigh less than fifty (50) pounds.
