Adrian, MI – The Lenawee County Health Department and the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services provided a weekend update on the COVID-19 virus.
There were 62 new cases reported by the LCHD over the weekend, with 5 in the hospital, and 1 additional death.
1% of the total confirmed cases are monitoring at home, with 97% considered discontinued from isolation and improving. The one additional death this weekend increased the total to 122.
Statewide on Monday, the MDHHS reported 3,143 new confirmed cases from Sunday and Monday, with 9 additional deaths.
They reported 53,883 active COVID-19 cases as of Saturday, with 936 adult confirmed-positive COVID-19 patients in the hospital as of Monday.
Statewide, as of Monday, 1,882,405 Michiganders have received one dose of a vaccine, and 1,039,231 have had two doses.
In Lenawee County, 18,069 have received one dose, with 10,932 having had two doses.
