Adrian, MI – The Lenawee County Health Department and the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services continue to update the public on COVID-19.
The LCHD reported 16 new cases on Tuesday, and 8 current hospitalizations. 94% of the total confirmed COVD-19 cases in Lenawee County are considered discontinued from isolation and improving, with 4% monitoring at home. The total death toll in Lenawee County has increased by one since Monday, now at 117.
Statewide on Tuesday, the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services reported that there were 1,316 new confirmed cases.
There were 34 new COVID-19 deaths reported statewide Tuesday, with 18 identified in a Vital Records Review. There have now been 15,396 total deaths from the virus.
The MDHHS reports that there have been 1,942,759 doses of COVID-19 vaccines administered in the state as of Monday, with 19,008 doses administered in Lenawee County.
