Adrian, MI – With the large amounts of snowfall projected in the forecast for early this week, local municipalities are reminding citizens about street parking and how it alters road clearing.
The City of Tecumseh is asking residents to park vehicles in your driveway or a nearby parking lot when large amounts of snowfall are expected.
They said that getting the cars off the street makes snow plowing for City crews much more efficient and safer. It also allows the crews to avoid leaving excess snow in the street around a parked car.
Please be aware of any rules that have been put into place by your local municipality as it relates to on-street parking overnight during snowstorms.
