
Adrian, MI – Multiple municipalities in Lenawee County have already issued snow emergencies ahead of the expected 5-9 inches of snowfall tonight.
The City of Adrian snow emergency will be in effect tonight at 5pm tonight until Tuesday at 12 noon. The parking or standing of a motor vehicle on a public street or highway in the city of Adrian is prohibited throughout the duration of the Snow Emergency. Any person who owns or is in control of a vehicle that is in violation shall be subject to fines and costs. Such motor vehicle may be removed from the city street or highway by the City of Adrian Police Department or its authorized designee, with the costs of such removal paid by the owner or persons in control of the vehicle.
Tecumseh has declared a snow emergency starting at 6pm tonight until 12 noon on Tuesday. All vehicles MUST be removed from the street so that the City crews can remove the snow. A release by the City stated that their goal in declaring a snow emergency is to clean the streets and not to write violation tickets. However, the Tecumseh Police Department may issue violations to any vehicle that is parked on a City street during that time. If there are any questions, you may contact

The City of Morenci snow emergency for today into tomorrow, and is reminding residents about sidewalk snow removal. Under the authority of the Chief of Police, a snow emergency is being declared under Section 20-67 of the Morenci Code of Ordinances starting with two (2) inches of snow accumulation on February 15, 2021 until streets are plowed on February 16, 2021. Vehicles and trailers left on the street will be found in violation of Section 20-67 of the Morenci Code of Ordinances and shall be ticketed and / or towed from the street. Owners of such vehicles will be responsible for all tickets, towing, and storage fees.
Property owners are also advised that it is a violation of the Michigan Motor Vehicle Code to blow and / or deposit snow onto public streets, sidewalks, or municipal parking areas. Any person engaged in such are subject to being ticketed.
Lastly, property owners are also reminded that pursuant to Section 18-47 of the Morenci Code of Ordinances that sidewalks are to be removed of snow by noon after a snowfall. Those failing to comply will be subject to a ticket and / or snow being removed from the sidewalk by the City of Morenci or a contractor of the City of Morenci’s choosing with the property owner then responsible for the cost of such removal.
The Village of Clinton also declared a Snow and Ice Emergency for tonight at 11 pm until Tuesday February 16th at 1pm. All vehicles must be removed from the street so that the streets can be cleared of snow or ice.
Any person who owns or is in control of a motor vehicle that is in violation of the Village’s Snow or Ice Emergency Ordinance shall be subject to fines and costs as set forth in the Village of Clinton parking ordinance, and said motor vehicle may be removed from said Village streets by the Village Police Department or its authorized designee, with the cost thereof paid by said person.
The Blissfield Village Police Department declared a snow emergency starting tonight at 5pm until Tuesday at 9am. They are reminding residents that any motor vehicle trailer or movable object must removed from public streets. They are subject to being towed and ticketed by the police department in accordance with Blissfield Village Ordinance Part 52, Section 52.013 Subsection 2.5d(f). Owners of such vehicles will be responsible for all tickets towing and storage fees.
