Lenawee County COVID-19 Update: February 9th, 2021

Adrian, MI – The Lenawee County Health Department and the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services continues to update the public on COVID-19.

The MDHHS reported Tuesday that there were 563 new confirmed cases.

There were 60 new COVID-19 deaths reported statewide Monday, with 31 identified during a Vital Records Review. There have now been 14,965 total deaths from the virus.

The LCHD reported on Tuesday that there were zero new cases, with 22 hospitalized, and 1 additional death… increasing the countywide total to 104.

The MDHHS reports that there have been 1,339,129 Michiganders administered a shot as of Monday.

There have been 13,916 vaccine doses administered in Lenawee.

90% of the total confirmed cases in the County are considered discontinued from isolation and improving with 8% of the total confirmed cases monitoring at home.
