Adrian, MI – The rate of vaccination continues to outpace the rate of COVID-19 infections in Michigan.
There have been 11,455 vaccines administered in Lenawee… compared to 5,629 total confirmed cases.
The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services reported Friday that there were 1,379 new confirmed cases.
There were 19 new COVID-19 deaths reported statewide Friday. There have now been 14,797 total deaths from the virus in Michigan.
The Lenawee County Health Department reported on Wednesday that there were 34 new cases, with 20 hospitalized, and one additional death… increasing the countywide total to 98.
The MDHHS reports that there have been 1,186,630 Michiganders administered a shot as of Thursday. As of Friday, there have been 566,630 total confirmed cases in Michigan.
In Lenawee, 89% of the 5,629 total confirmed cases of COVID-19 are considered discontinued from isolation and improving with 9% of the total confirmed cases monitoring at home.
