Adrian, MI – COVID-19 vaccination efforts continue in Lenawee County, with more people being vaccinated than have had the virus.
There have been 7,868 vaccines administered in Lenawee as of Wednesday… compared to 5,458 total confirmed cases as of Friday. Statewide, there have been 854,084 vaccines administered, with 557,883 total confirmed cases.
Statewide on Friday, the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services reported that there were 1,774 new confirmed cases.
There were 6 new COVID-19 deaths reported statewide Friday, upping the total deaths in the state to 14,497.
The Lenawee County Health Department reported on Friday that there were 38 new cases, with 18 hospitalized, and one death… increasing the countywide total at 88.
86% of the total confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Lenawee County are considered discontinued from isolation and improving, with 12% of the total confirmed cases in Lenawee are monitoring at home.
