
Adrian, MI – As of Thursday, there have been more COVID-19 vaccines administered in Lenawee than there have been total confirmed cases of the virus in the county.
There have been 7,868 vaccines administered in Lenawee as of Wednesday… compared to 5,420 total confirmed cases as of Thursday.
Statewide on Thursday, the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services reported that there were 1,872 new confirmed cases.
There were 80 new COVID-19 deaths reported statewide Wednesday… with 67 of them identified during a Vital Records review. There have now been 14,491 total deaths from the virus.
The Lenawee County Health Department reported on Thursday that there were 48 new cases, with 18 hospitalized, and zero additional deaths… holding the countywide total at 87.
86% of the total confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Lenawee County are considered discontinued from isolation and improving, with 12% of the total confirmed cases in Lenawee are monitoring at home.
