
Adrian, MI – As of Monday, there have been more COVID-19 vaccines administered in Lenawee than there have been total confirmed cases of the virus in the county.
There have been 7,092 vaccines administered in Lenawee… compared to 5,326 total confirmed cases.
Statewide on Monday, the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services reported that there were 3,011 new confirmed cases from Sunday and Monday.
There were 35 new COVID-19 deaths reported statewide Monday, and there have now been 14,326 total deaths from the virus.
The Lenawee County Health Department reported on Monday that there were 104 new cases over the weekend, with 22 hospitalized, and 3 additional deaths… increasing the countywide total to 85.
The MDHHS reports that there have been 642,111 Michiganders administered a shot as of Sunday. As of Monday, there have been 551,080 total confirmed cases.
In Lenawee, 79% of the 5,326 total confirmed cases of COVID-19 are considered discontinued from isolation and improving with 19% of the total confirmed cases monitoring at home.
