Adrian, MI – The State of Michigan gave an update on Tuesday afternoon about the COVID-19 virus… cases, deaths, recoveries, and vaccinations.
The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services reported that statewide, there were 1,738 new confirmed cases.
There were 41 new COVID-19 deaths statewide Tuesday, with 13,865 total deaths from the virus.
The Lenawee County Health Department reported on Tuesday that there were 25 new cases, with 24 hospitalized, and 1 additional deaths… bringing the countywide total to 79.
On the vaccination front, the MDHHS reports that there have been 487,959 Michiganders administered a shot.
In Lenawee, 74% of the total confirmed cases of COVID-19 are considered discontinued from isolation and improving with 24% of the total confirmed cases monitoring at home.
As of Sunday, there have been 4,362 vaccines administered in Lenawee County.
