
Adrian, MI – The State of Michigan gave an update on Monday afternoon about the COVID-19 virus… cases, deaths, recoveries, and vaccinations.
The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services reported that there were 442,408 recoveries, and 538,377 total cases as of Saturday. Statewide, there were 2,843 new confirmed cases from Sunday and Monday.
There were 20 new COVID-19 deaths statewide from Sunday and Monday, with 13,824 total deaths from the virus.
On the vaccination front, the MDHHS reports that there have been 487,959 Michiganders administered a shot.
The Lenawee County Health Department reported on Monday that there were 99 new cases over the weekend, with 25 hospitalized, and 4 additional deaths… bringing the countywide total to 78.
In Lenawee, 72% of the total confirmed cases of COVID-19 are considered discontinued from isolation and improving (or 3,644 out of 5,066).
The LCHD also said that 26% of the total confirmed cases (or 1,319 out of 5,066) were monitoring at home.
As of Saturday, there have been 4,362 vaccines administered in Lenawee County.
