Medina Twp., Lenawee County – The Lenawee County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the deaths of a husband and wife on Christmas Eve.
At around 4:21pm, Lenawee County Central Dispatch received a call of a possible double fatal shooting in the 15000 block of Lime Creek Road in Medina Township.
Lenawee County Sheriff’s Office Detectives were called to the scene and determined that the deceased, a 71 year old female and 59 year old male, were husband and wife, and lived at the residence.
Investigators reported that the bodies were found by a relative of the family who had arrived at the house for a planned holiday get-together.
Investigators also determined that there was a history of domestic violence at the residence. The investigation remains open and the names are not being released until other family can be notified.
