Lenawee County COVID-19 Update: December 22nd, 2020

Adrian, MI – The Lenawee County Health Department reported 50 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 on Tuesday.

The new cases increased the total number of cases from 3,728 to 3,754.

54% of the total confirmed cases of COVID-19 are considered discontinued from isolation and improving (or 2,044 out of 3,754).

The LCHD also said that 43% of the total confirmed cases (or 1,630 out of 3,754) were monitoring at home.

The Lenawee County Health Department reported that there were 24 COVID-19 related hospitalizations, and 56 total deaths, up one from Monday.

This note was posted on the LCHD website Tuesday: “There will be a discrepancy in data reported today (12/22/2020) for new cases and cumulative counts. The discrepancy is due to an update in the Michigan Disease Surveillance System that caused changes to existing cases. The State of Michigan is working to resolve the issue.”
