Belleville, MI – Yankee Air Museum’s historic North American B-25 Mitchell bomber is ending 2020 on a high note.
The plane, which was sidelined for most of the year due to COVID – 19, will be getting a makeover thanks to the generosity of Conrad “Connie” Kalitta and his Kalitta Air and Maintenance teams.
They are bringing new life to the B-25 by painting it in the same color scheme as it wore in service in the Mediterranean Theater of Operations. It was historic then and this is historic now.
