Lansing, MI – The organization called #LetThemPlay will be holding a rally at the Michigan State Capital this Friday (Dec. 11th) from 3pm to 5 pm to get children back in school, to play sports, and to do activities.
There will be speakers including doctors, nurses, superintendents, coaches, moms, and athletes who will address the importance of school, sports, and activities to the declining mental health of Michigan’s youth.
The Michigan High School Athletic Association submitted its numbers from the fall sports season which, according to #LetThemPlay, proved that sports were not spreaders of the coronavirus.
The same group rallied in August to get fall football back, and they said they were successful in their efforts.
