Lenawee County COVID-19 Update: December 8th, 2020

Adrian, MI – The Lenawee County Health Department reported 49 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 on Tuesday.

The new cases increased the total number of cases from 2,992 to 3,041.

52% of the total confirmed cases of COVID-19 are considered discontinued from isolation and improving (or 1,560 out of 3,041).

The LCHD also said that 47% of the total confirmed cases (or 1,420 out of 3,041) were monitoring at home.

The Lenawee County Health Department reported that there were 25 COVID-19 related hospitalizations, and 36 total deaths… and increase of 2 from Monday. Lenawee County Health Officer Martha Hall told WLEN News that the deaths reported on Monday were of 70, 75, 64, 89, 94, and 87 year old females… and a 93 year old male. When the death count was released on Monday afternoon, Hall did not have information regarding underlying health conditions.
