Adrian, MI – Citizens Gas announced that it increased its natural gas supply charge to $.479 per hundred cubic feet from $.39 C.C.F.
The rate change will result in an increase of $83 to the average residential customer’s natural gas bill over a 12-month period. Citizens Gas says that this change was necessary due to the increase in gas supply cost.
Monthly gas bills will vary month to month depending on usage. Citizens Gas, headquartered in Adrian, serves 17,500 homes and businesses in Lenawee County.
It is a wholly-owned subsidiary of DTE Energy, a Detroit-based diversified energy company involved in the development and management of energy-related businesses and services nationwide.
