Adrian, MI – Due to the State of Michigan’s ongoing COVID-19 restrictions on group gatherings, Adrian College has postponed its upcoming winter commencement and rescheduled for events in May.
The college decided to include the Class of 2020… which has its spring commencement postponed twice this year… in a May 1st ceremony. Adrian College’s Class of 2021 will receive degrees the following day, during a May 2nd spring commencement.
Commencement day events will be similar to those in the past with tentative plans in place for programs and photographs of the students receiving their certificates.
President Docking will address students as the commencement speaker on both days.
The ceremonies will be held on Commencement Plaza unless inclement weather forces them
to be relocated indoors. The Merillat Sport and Fitness Center’s Blue Gym has been reserved as an alternate location.
