Raisinville Township, Monroe County – A Monroe man died at the scene of a single vehicle motorcycle crash Sunday night in Raisinville Township.
Michigan State Police Troopers from the Monroe Post responded to the crash at Dixon Rd. between Cherry and Sorter roads at approximately 9:15 P.M.
The MSP determined, based on evidence on the scene, that a Kawasaki motorcycle driven by the 46 year old male, drove off the right side of the roadway and crashed, ejecting the driver.
The driver suffered fatal injuries as a result of the crash despite attempts to revive him by citizens and first responders. No other vehicles were involved in the incident and the MSP deemed that alcohol is considered to be a factor in the crash.
