Palmyra Township, MI – A 22 year old man from Riga died at the scene of a two vehicle crash in Palmyra Township early Wednesday morning.
The Michigan State Police report that at 12:10am Troopers from the Monroe Post were dispatched to the crash at Gorman Road and Treat Highway.
They said that, based on evidence at the scene, a 2008 Mercury was traveling southbound on Treat Highway when the 22 year old driver allegedly disregarded the stop sign at Gorman Road and was struck by a westbound 2007 Chevy Tahoe driven by an 18 year old female from Adrian.
The driver of the Chevy and her 16 year old passenger were treated and released. The 22 year old died at the scene.
The Michigan State Police are asking anyone who may have additional information or witnessed the crash to contact the Michigan State Police Monroe Post.
