
According to a study released by Wallet Hub on August 5th, Michigan has the 22nd least equitable school districts in the United States overall, but some districts within the state are fairer than others. When comparing spending on public education per pupil against average household income, here’s where local school districts stand in the state:
Columbia Schools ranks 8th, Clinton Community Schools 29th, Tecumseh Public 47th, Addison 79th, Onsted Community Schools ranks 115th, Adrian City 170th, Hudson 253rd, Blissfield 257th, Sand Creek 277th, Britton Deerfield, 291st, Manchester, 325th, Madison 364th, Morenci 372nd, Saline 518th, all out of 536 districts.
