Lansing, MI – The Michigan State Police will host a virtual recruiting webinar on Saturday, August 1st for people who are interested in learning more about a career as a Michigan State Trooper.
The webinar, offered from 11am-1pm, will provide an overview of the minimum qualifications and essential job functions of a trooper, information about taking the entry level law enforcement exam, the MSP hiring process, trooper recruit school and the field training officer program.
Applicants must possess a high school diploma or GED, be at least 21 years of age by recruit school graduation and be of good moral character with no felony convictions. Additionally, applicants must be a U.S. citizen, and a Michigan resident at the time of appointment to the academy.
