Lenawee County, MI – This week in our newscasts, WLEN News will be highlighting the upcoming local election… and today we will talk about a few of the County Commission Seats.
District 1, which includes the City of Tecumseh and Tecumseh Township, will have incumbent Republican David Stimpson and Democrat Bill Swift running for the seat.
Incumbent Republican John Lapham is running unopposed for the party nomination in District 2, which includes Woodstock, Cambridge, and Rome Townships.
District 3, which includes the Cities of Hudson and Morenci, and the Townships of Rollin, Hudson, and Medina… will have Nancy Jenkins-Arno running unopposed for the Republican ticket.
These candidates are the individuals listed on the official ballot for the August 4th Primary Election. One of the purposes of the August Primary Election is to determine each party’s nomination for the November General Election ballot.
