Lenawee County, MI – The United Way of Monroe/Lenawee Counties recently participated in the statewide launch of a new storytelling campaign, “United We Will.”
The purpose of “United We Will” is to share the COVID-19 response stories and the efforts of United Ways across the state.
On the statewide website, the United Way of Monroe/Lenawee Counties will share local COVID-19 response efforts, specific problems identified over the past few months, and efforts to address mid- and long-term issues triggered by the pandemic’s economic impact.
The “United We Will” campaign also provides an additional platform to tell the stories of Michigan’s Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed population. ALICE households struggle to afford the basic necessities of housing, child-care, food, technology, health care and transportation.
