Lenawee County, MI – The Lenawee County Health Department has reported nine new confirmed cases of COVID-19 Friday morning.

There are now 263 confirmed cases… with 96 people monitoring at home, and 152 people “discontinued from isolation and improving.”

Four people were in the hospital as of Friday morning. 11 total deaths from COVID-19 have been reported in Lenawee County.

How is the virus impacting surrounding counties?

Jackson: 543 confirmed cases (+1 since Thurs.) with 31 deaths (+0 since Thurs.)

Monroe: 610 confirmed cases (+7) with 22 deaths (+0)

Hillsdale: 203 confirmed cases (+3) with 25 deaths (+0)

Washtenaw: 1,824 confirmed cases (+75) with 109 deaths (+0)

Statewide as of Thursday afternoon…

There were 72,502 total confirmed cases, with 660 new cases reported on Friday. There were 7 deaths reported. The total deaths from COVID-19 in Michigan, as reported by the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services, is at 6,108.

On a positive note, 53,867 people are being reported as recovered as of Friday, July 10th. Recovered is defined as the number of persons with a confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis who are alive 30 days post-onset (or referral date if onset is not available). Recovery numbers are updated every Saturday.
