Former Clayton Assistant Fire Chief Arrested on Two-Count Felony Warrant

Clayton, MI – A former Clayton Assistant Fire Chief was arrested on a two-count felony warrant for Criminal Sexual Conduct 4th Degree and Accosting a Child for Immoral Purposes.

Troopers from the Michigan State Police Monroe Post arrested Joseph Garrow on July 14th.

Troopers were dispatched to a complaint in early January 2020. The investigation alleged that Garrow had sexual contact with an underage female while attending a New Year’s Eve party in Clayton.

The investigation was completed and submitted to the Lenawee County Prosecutor’s Office for review, and on July 13th, a multi-count warrant was issued against Garrow.
