COVID-19 Update: July 13th, 2020

Lenawee, MI – The Lenawee County Health Department has reported an increase of four cases of COVID-19 as of Monday morning.

There were 246 confirmed cases… with 79 people monitoring at home, 153 people considered “discontinued from isolation and improving.”

Three people were in the hospital as of Monday morning. 11 total deaths from COVID-19 have been reported in Lenawee County.

How is the virus impacting surrounding counties?

Jackson: 531 confirmed cases with 31 deaths

Monroe: 578 confirmed cases with 20 deaths

Hillsdale: 194 confirmed cases with 25 deaths

Washtenaw: 1,599 confirmed cases with 108 deaths

Satewide as of Monday afternoon…

There were 69,722 total confirmed cases, with 384 new cases reported on Monday. There were 7 deaths reported. The total deaths from COVID-19 in Michigan, as reported by the MDHHS, is at 6,075.

On a positive note, 53,867 people are being reported as recovered as of Friday, July 10th. Recovered is defined as the number of persons with a confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis who are alive 30 days post-onset (or referral date if onset is not available). Recovery numbers are updated every Saturday.
