Adrian, MI – Adrian City Administrator Nathan Burd has been offered the position of Livingston County Administrator.

Burd told WLEN News that he was made aware of the open position earlier this year. He also said that Livingston County is one of the fastest growing counties in the state of Michigan.

Burd has been the Administrator in Adrian for a year and a half, and he told WLEN News that it was hard to decide to leave the City…

Administrator Burd was selected from a pool of… what he was told… was 119 applicants. He talked to WLEN News about a proud moment he’s had while working for the City…and a favorite memory from his time here…

If Livingston County and Burd agree to terms, he will stay with the City of Adrian for 60 days, honoring that part of his contract.

An agreement between Burd and Livingston County could include a salary amount of around $130,000 per year.

Burd was appointed as Administrator unanimously by the Adrian City Commission in October of 2018.
