Lenawee County Reports Increase in Positive COVID-19 Cases

Adrian, MI – The Lenawee County Health Department reported Wednesday afternoon that there has been an increase in the current number of confirmed cases of COVID-19… from 71 to 77.

Reporting on the department’s website says that there are 42 men and 35 women currently infected. Seven people were hospitalized as of Wednesday afternoon. 41 individuals were monitoring at home, and 29 have been discontinued from isolation and are improving.

The Lenawee County Health Department also reported that as of Wednesday afternoon, 9 people were reported as “Probable COVID-19 Cases”. Four of them are monitoring at home and five discontinued from isolation and are improving.

Probable cases are those who do NOT have a positive laboratory confirmed test result, but have symptoms consistent with COVID-19, and can be linked to a known case or a place with known transmission.

These numbers do not include reporting from the prison.
