After months of planning, construction has begun on a project to add a sole right turn lane on Division Street at US 223 in Adrian.
The turn lane should help with traffic flow at the busy intersection, which is partially in Madison Township, and partially in the city limits.
The City of Adrian is not in control of the traffic signal configuration… the Michigan Department of Transportation is.
There may be lane closures, congestion, and possible delays in the area during construction.
