The Lenawee County administrative offices located in the Old Courthouse building in Adrian are preparing to move to their temporary office space across the street in the County Annex building.
Phase two of the Lenawee Complex Capital Improvement Plan includes renovating the historic Courthouse building. Built in 1885, the Romanesque Revival building has served as the seat of Lenawee County government for 135 years.
To accommodate the move, several offices will be closed on February 4th and 5th…including the Lenawee County Treasurer, Register of Deeds, Equalization, County Clerk-Vital Records, and the Administrator’s Offices.
All services will reopen to the public on Thursday, February 6th on the main floor of the Annex Building.
The Board of Commissioners will hold their Personnel/Ways and Means Committee and their monthly board meetings in the Adrian City Chambers located on East Maumee Street in Adrian. All other standing committee meetings will be held in the conference room of the Annex Building.
