The Lenawee County Health Department is advising residents and visitors to avoid physical contact with the River Raisin beginning at South Branch of the river from College and George St. in the City of Adrian and continuing to the Village of Deerfield until further notice due to discharge from the City of Adrian sewage collection & treatment system.
This advisory does not apply to public or private drinking water supplies. The advisory will remain in effect until results from water testing indicates the River Raisin water quality is not impacted by the sewage discharge.
