A suspect is in custody at the Lenawee County Jail after an investigation into a major heroin/fentanyl supplier to the Adrian area led authorities to his Southfield Apartment.
The suspect was out on bond awaiting sentencing on a separate RHINO continuing criminal enterprise investigation. Officers located about 40 bindles of heroin/fentanyl that weighed close to 8 grams. Approximately $3,500 in cash was seized, along with 4 handguns…(2 of which were reported as stolen).
The suspect is currently lodged in the Lenawee County Jail on violation of a conditional bond release. Additional charges are pending for possession with intent to deliver heroin/fentanyl, felony firearm and possession of stolen firearms.
The Region of Irish Hills Narcotics Office (RHINO), the DEA Strike Force in Detroit, and the Michigan Attorney General’s Office conducted the an investigation.
