The Lenawee County Airport beacon must undergo repairs and was taken off of the tower Friday morning.
The light on the beacon was operating properly, but it needs some mechanical repairs.
The beacon…from Wauseon, Ohio…that shines a green and white light, weighs between 500 and 600 pounds and is the first beacon used at the current Lenawee County Airport location.
