The City of Tecumseh Public Utilities Department will be flushing fire hydrants, water mains and turning water valves starting next week.
City crews will begin flushing on the north side of the City and move southward. This flushing will be done during the daylight hours from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday, beginning September 9th through October 10th.
Flushing will not be performed on Fridays, Saturdays or Sundays.
Be sure to check your cold water for any rust before doing laundry.
