MJR Digital Cinemas, including the theater just north of Adrian, has been bought by a European theater ownership group called Kinepolis Group.
WLEN News talked to MJR’s founder and CEO Mike Mihalich about the sale. He said that the new group will keep the name and management team.
When asked if he saw his theater ownership career ending up where it did… owning a very successful Southeast Michigan company… Mihalich said…
He told WLEN News that he was approached by a large theater management company several years ago to buy MJR Digital Cinemas…
The sale is expected to be finalized by mid to late October of this year.
