Former Tecumseh City Police Chief Troy Stern passed away Wednesday morning, surrounded by his family. He was 48 years old.
Troy had been employed by the Tecumseh Police Department for 24 years, and as Police Chief for 8 ½ years, retiring in May 2019. Stern enjoyed fishing and watching sports.
A private memorial service will be held. A public gathering will be held on Friday, August 30th, from 2:00 – 7:00 PM, at Anderson-Marry Funeral Home, Tecumseh.
